All retreat deposits and payments are non-refundable and cannot be held over to future retreats.
If you cancel within three months of the retreat, the remainder of your payment (minus the deposit) will be refunded ONLY if a replacement is found to take your place. Naturally, you probably know that it becomes increasingly difficult and less likely as a retreat approaches to find substitutes who can both pay and travel at short notice.
No refunds are possible if you cancel within two weeks of the retreat.
If you register as an early bird, you do have more options. Though we cannot refund your deposit, you may receive a one-hour consultation with one of the retreat mentors.
If we have to cancel, all payments will be returned in full.
The Exception
The only exception is the $200 Storyteller deposit: if your application is not accepted, you will receive your deposit back in full within 48 hours. If you choose not to continue after your application is accepted, you forfeit the $200 deposit.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover the cost of your trip, including your registration. In the event that you are ill or cannot attend for allowed reasons with your travel insurance policy, you can seek reimbursement this way.
Late or missing refunds
If you choose not to move forward and attend the Stories & Song retreat after your application has been accepted, and you haven’t received a refund yet from us, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
